Teachers need to have a number of academic terms with their OWN definitions that they utilize to help them teach. I have compiled some of these terms with a fellow educator in an Academic Dictionary.

Here is a lesson I did on Music in Video Games. This is an excellent example of how I interact with my students on a personal level to develop an equal respect and exponential engagement in my course material. In this lesson you can see my student really open up to the analyzing music on specific dimensions like tempo, rhythm, pitch, dynamics and more to affect the aesthetic of the music in entertainment. On top of this, I am able to deeper their understanding by getting them to analyze multiple dimensions and pick the best one for the specified aesthetic they're trying to achieve! (disclaimer: members of this class had to sign a permission slip agreeing to be recorded for the practicum corse this was a part of).
